Our Home

Rosewood is located in Braintree, right on the line between Weymouth and Quincy.

We offer a structured, supportive living environment where every woman is encouraged to take ownership of her recovery.

Our expectations include:

  • Paying weekly program fees on time (rent is $250/per week due on Fridays. There are additional move-in costs, please call for more information)

  • Attending one weekly house meeting (Wednesdays @ 7:45PM)

  • Going to at least four recovery-based meetings each week

  • Obtaining and actively working with a sponsor in a 12-step program

  • Participating in regular drug testing and/or breathalyzing

  • Keeping personal spaces clean, pitching in with household chores, and cleaning up after oneself (chores are daily)

If a resident isn’t currently working, she’s expected to stay engaged through volunteering (based on her ability), attending school, being in a program, or participating in a productive activity that we agree on together. The goal is to stay active and focused in recovery.

Our house guidelines exist to keep the home safe, respectful, and recovery-centered for everyone who lives here.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who can live at Rosewood?

Rosewood is open to adult women (18+) who are committed to living a sober lifestyle and actively working a recovery program. Residents must be drug- and alcohol-free at the time of move-in, willing to participate in a structured environment, and ready to take personal responsibility for their recovery. We welcome women coming from treatment programs, the justice system, or other recovery pathways, as long as they meet our criteria and are a good fit for the home.

Can I work or go to school while living at Rosewood?

Yes. Residents are encouraged to work, attend school, or volunteer. If you’re not currently employed, we’ll help you create a plan to stay productive and engaged in recovery.

Can I have a car?

Yes, cars are permitted. Residents must have valid insurance and a license and follow parking rules.

What happens if I relapse?

Rosewood is a sober home, and all residents must remain abstinent from drugs and alcohol. If a resident relapses, she will be asked to leave the house. We will help with referrals or next steps if needed.

Can I go on overnights?

Overnight stays outside of the house are not permitted during the first 30 days. After that, residents may request overnight passes in advance and must receive approval from the House Manager. Overnights are a privilege and are granted based on a resident’s engagement in her recovery, behavior in the house, and overall accountability.

Is there a curfew?

Yes. A curfew is in place and may vary depending on your phase in the house. All residents are expected to follow the house schedule and communicate about any exceptions in advance.

First 30 days: 10PM Monday - Sunday

After 30 days: 11PM Monday-Thursday, 12PM Friday-Sunday

Will I have a roommate?

Yes, most residents at Rosewood will have a roommate. Shared rooms help foster connection, accountability, and community—key components of early recovery. We do our best to place women in rooming situations that are supportive and respectful.

How do I apply?
